Guided School Programs
Join Museum docents for hands-on classroom activities and interactive walks through our state-of-the-art exhibits and outdoor natural areas. Programs are designed to meet Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and can be tailored for students in grades K-8.
- Two program times available (10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.), each lasting one hour
- Indoor programs: 10-60 students maximum per program. Groups of 61-120 will participate in both program times with students divided into two groups.
- Outdoor programs: 10-40 students maximum
- Prices for guided programs (except Butterfly and Moth Explorations and Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway) are $3 per student, one chaperone free per 10 students; additional chaperones are $3 each.
- Prices for Butterfly and Moth Explorations and Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway are $5 per student, one chaperone free per 10 students; additional chaperones are $8. These fees include admission to the Butterfly Rainforest or Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway exhibits.
- Note: Groups exceeding the program capacities listed above may choose a self-guided program or schedule two or more calendar dates for the same program. Separate online forms must be completed for each calendar date.

Outdoor programs utilize the pine forest and oak hammocks in the natural area behind the Museum.
