Interested in attracting butterflies to your property?

The Florida Museum now offers butterfly-friendly plants for sale every day. Learn from the experts how best to attract butterflies to your home. Find out what species you can attract and which butterfly-attracting plants are proven winners! Native, nectar, host and accent plants are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Florida Museum's Butterfly Rainforest.


Where: The plant sale is located outside the Museum's front entrance near the picnic area. Volunteers will assist buyers with their order, which is paid for inside the Collectors Shop. Once inside, take advantage of the great gift ideas available. Buyers may then return outside to pick up their plants.

When: NOW 7 DAYS A WEEK! 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday; 1 - 5 p.m. Sunday

Prices: Plant prices start as low as $3 for a 4" pot and most 1-gallon pots are $6 each. Larger sizes may be available ranging from $12 to $18 for a 3-gallon pot.

Availability: The Museum will feature 10 plants each week, along with at least one additional unannounced species. The schedule is posted below and is updated regularly.
