Congratulations to our 2013 winner!

This year the Florida Museum hosted its first ButterflyFest Facebook Photo Challenge! The challenge was designed to educate and promote awareness of water and wildlife through photography.

Photos had to include a depiction of water and wildlife together in a natural setting.

The first place winner received a gift basket, including Museum merchandise and eight Butterfly Rainforest tickets.

The Florida Museum will display the winning photo through Dec. 1, 2013 and it will be published in The Gainesville Sun on Saturday, Oct. 19.
