King Kong 1933 movie still

Join a panel of scientists, artists and special effects experts as we view and discuss the eighth wonder of the world, "King Kong" (1933). The panel includes Ian Breheny, Florida Museum exhibit designer, Tim Lawrence, Hollywood special effects artist and concept sculptor, and Tracy Fenn, supervisor of mammals at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.

Join the Museum every Saturday in July for a free movie screening and explore the balance between science and art with an expert panel. UF students receive free admission to the "Titanoboa: Monster Snake" exhibit with their Gator 1 card. The Museum will be open to the public from 6 to 10 p.m. The movie starts at 7 p.m., followed by the panel discussion.
