Explore the archaeology of St. Augustine during a daylong trip with the Florida Museum and Creative B!
Be one of the first with the opportunity to participate in a behind-the-scenes tour of the "First Colony: Our Spanish Origins" exhibit at the Government House. This exhibit highlights St. Augustine as the oldest permanent European settlement in the United States, older than Jamestown by 42 years. Florida Museum of Natural History Historical Archaeology Collections Manager Gifford Waters, who has conducted extensive research in St. Augustine, will lead the tour.
