This interactive maze exhibit features puzzles, games, climb-on play stations and other activities for the entire family. Adventure through the leaves, learn how to move like a caterpillar, encounter friends and foes, then transform into a butterfly and take flight! Butterfly Rainforest

This addition to the Florida Museum is dedicated to research and education about butterflies, moths and global biodiversity. The Butterfly Rainforest is a four-story, outdoor screened enclosure with waterfalls, a walking trail, lush subtropical and tropical plants and hundreds of live butterflies. Learn More...

Congratulations "A" Students! Children presenting a report card showing they earned an "A" or "S" grade in science for the most recent grading period will receive one free admission to the Butterfly Rainforest with one paid regular price adult admission this June and July! Open to all Alachua county students exiting grades K-12.


Discovery Room Open for Free Summer Fun

ButterflyFest Oct. 24-25, 2009 Explore the lives of butterflies and other native pollinators at this fall's ButterflyFest. Learn about butterfly gardening, conservation, backyard wildlife and more!
