Changes Proposed for Sardine Allocation

A proposed rule to implement Amendment 11 to the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan would change the framework for the annual apportionment of the sardine harvest guideline along the U.S. Pacific coast. The purpose of the proposed action is to achieve optimal utilization of the Pacific sardine resource and equitable allocation of harvesting opportunities.

Public comments are invited through December 16. Comments may be sent by e-mail to: 0648-AT11.SWR@noaa.gov. Please include "I.D. 102105A" in the subject line of the message.
