Measures Proposed for 2006-2007 Groundfish Fisheries

NOAA Fisheries Service has proposed the 2006 and 2007 harvest limits and prohibited
species catch allowances for the groundfish fisheries of the Gulf of Alaska (GOA)
and the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI) management areas. The intended effect
of these
proposed actions
is to conserve and manage the groundfish resources in accordance with the
Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
