No Changes Proposed for the 2006 Atlantic Herring Fishery

A comprehensive review of all herring data concluded that stock and fishery conditions have remained relatively constant over the last year. Therefore, the New England Fishery Management Council recommended that the 2005 specifications be maintained for 2006.
