The New England Fishery Management Council's Fishery Management Plan

FYI: The New England Fishery Management Council's Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for skates (seven species) of the U.S. Northwest Atlantic is available for your viewing pleasure on the Council's website (www.nefmc.org). The FMP was recently submitted to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). NMFS will now review the FMP and eventually approve, disapprove or partially disapprove it. There will be a public comment period associated with the NMFS proposals; I will do my best to alert the list to this upcoming opportunity.
