Survival Packs

Survival packs are an important component of the life raft and emergency evacuation of the boat. Inflatable life rafts may be required to be equipped with a SOLAS A, SOLAS B, or Coastal Pack depending on the type of survival craft.
The SOLAS A Pack includes the following equipment:
- Hand Pump
- Paddles (2)
- Spare Sea Anchor
- Sponges (2)
- Bailer (1 or 2 depending on raft capacity)
- First Aid Kit
- Fishing Kit
- Signal Mirror
- Repair Kit
- Pressure Relief Valve Plugs
- Whistle
- Drinking Cup
- Can Openers (3)
- Flashlight
- Spare Flashlight Bulbs (2)
- Flashlight Batteries (6)
- Red Hand Flares (6)
- Red Parachute Flares (4)
- Orange Smoke Signals (2)
- Anti Sea Sickness Tablets (6 per person)
- Rations (1 per person)
- Drinking Water (1.5 liter per person)
