Shark Anatomy

Background:
This is a classroom activity to assist students in identifying anatomical features of sharks.

Materials:
Shark anatomy handout and shark anatomy key for the educator

Classroom Activity:
• Use an overhead projector or chalkboard drawing to illustrate the body of a typical shark.
• Pass out the shark anatomy sheets to students.
• Have the students fill out their activity sheets.
• Quiz the class and have a student come to the board to label the shark fins correctly.
