Florida Program for Shark Research: Full Time ISAF Data Manager Position Announcement
The Florida Program for Shark Research (FPSR) is accepting applications for a Data Manager position. We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and trustworthy individual to work with the International Shark Attack File (ISAF). The ISAF is a compilation of all known shark attacks world-wide that is administered through the auspices of the FPSR and the American Elasmobranch Society. Founded in 1958, the File gathers and synthesizes data on shark attacks in order to gain scientific insight into this phenomenon. Applicants should have the following minimal qualifications: Bachelors degree; computer skills including Internet, Microsoft Access and Office; good typing, writing, and communication skills; and the ability to multi-task.
