The Natural History Exhibit Hall, a nonprofit organization, has
been called "a remarkable blend of art, science,and education."
Located in an historical building in downtown Livingston, Montana,
the Natural History Exhibit Hall was created to develop and build
permanent and traveling exhibits for museums around the world, including
the reconstruction and reproduction of fossil specimens. The Natural
History Exhibit Hall was developed as an extension of the talent
and creations of Matt B. Smith. Matt received his B.A. in
Fine Art from Montana State University in 1985. From 1985 to 1991,
he worked with Dr. Jack Horner at the Museum of the Rockies creating
fleshed-out models and skeletal mountings. Over the past 14 years,
Matt's creations have been displayed in museums around the world,
including: the American Museum of Natural History, the British Museum
of Natural History, and the Museum of the Rockies. Images of his
work have also appeared in such magazines as Life, Discover, National
Geographic, and in the movie, "Jurassic Park."
