Passport to Cowboy Florida Archive

March 19, 2011

The Florida Museum celebrated the rich history of Florida ranching at Passport to Cowboy Florida. Rustic decorations provided an authentic atmosphere that was clearly enjoyable and festive. Guests enjoyed food from Blue Water Bay, danced to country western tunes and enjoyed a roping demonstration.

We would like to thank the Florida Museum Associates Board for producing another fantastic evening and working hard to bring the country to the Museum. Their efforts helped the Museum raise over $46,000 to help support exhibits, public programs and research.

A special thank you again this year to Jim Brandenburg for building the amazing barn and Gulp and Gallop bar decorations, and to Alan Shapiro for donating the trees and plants that transformed the Museum into wild Florida!
