Junior Volunteer Program
Tweens and teens ages 12 to 17 work alongside Museum staff throughout the summer, sharing programs and exhibits with visitors and public program participants. A variety of positions are available, including Discovery Cart attendant, Discovery Room assistant, camp teacher's assistant, collections assistant and more. It’s easy to make new friends who love the Museum just like you. This is also a great opportunity to learn about the "behind-the-scenes" work required to present programs and events. All junior volunteers are trained and supervised.
Thank you for your interest in the Junior Volunteer program. All 2015 positions have been filled.
Mark your calendars! Applications for 2016 will be available the first week of March on the website and at the front desk. All applications will be due the last week of March. Interviews for new applicants will take place in mid-April.
