- The collector is presumably, but not certainly, Jacques Fournet. No. 5045 is below and to the right of the label heading. The next line says, "POLYPODIACEAE (THEL) Fournet."
- The number "233" is probably the distribution set's specimen number rather than the collector's number.
- The number entered as coll. # actually appears at the top of the sheet as "Accession #". There are no collection numbers on the labels in this set, so the accession number is used for organizational purposes.
- The only station I know of for this species (in Hardee County). The Hardee County station is very small and is between main road and active orange grove. The area of woods it is in is very small and it is probably a matter of time before it
