The key pages describe certain characteristics of crocodilians that you will use in identifying them. They refer you to pages in the blue or yellow sections that illustrate the species. The first series of key pages (Start of adult identification key to Last page of adult identification key) are used to identify your specimen using the morphology of the head of an adult. Key pages Start of key to hides to Last page of key to hides are used to identify untanned hides. Once you are familiarized with crocodilian identification you may also use the fast key for adult specimens on Fast key to adult identification.
