Machel Malay

Maria Celia (Machel) Malay finished her Ph.D. in August 2010, and is currently a post-doctoral researcher with Dr. Tin-Yam Chan at the National Taiwan Ocean University. She is using this postdoc opportunity to delve deeper into hermit crab taxonomy and biogeography.

Phylogenetics, systematics, and biogegography of marine invertebrates; Indo-West Pacific coral reef biology and biodiversity; management of coastal resources and invertebrate fisheries
