Combined trnL-F and ITS data: One of three most parsimonious trees for tribe Melanthieae. Branch and bound; CI = 0.800, RI = 0.790, tree length = 780. The three most parsimonious trees differed only in resolution within the Z. micranthus/Z. venenosus var. venenosus/Z. fremontii clade.
