where ridge meets S slope of Morne Macaya, Parc National Pic
Macaya, ca. 1900 m elev. Moist cloud forest with scattered
Pinus occidentalis and Agave antillarum. Uncommon shrub to
2-3 m tall; flowers pale yellow.
