Call for Graduate Student Papers

The Herpetology Conference, including the 26th Annual All Florida Herpetological Event
5-6 April 2003

Held in association with
Conserving Amphibians and Reptiles through Education
PARC national conference organized by
Southeast Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation
6-8 April 2003

Both events held at the Sheraton Hotel, Gainesville, Florida.

Having graduate students present their research at The Herpetology Conference is an important way to highlight the direction of current science in the field of herpetology. It also allows students to practice presenting to a smaller, more relaxed audience before heading on to national and international conferences. There will be a limited opportunity for graduate students to present at the upcoming conference. We will select 3 students based on their abstracts. An honorarium of $100 will be given to each of the 3 students selected. Student presentations will be 15 minutes long, with an additional 5 minutes for questions. We expect that presentations be based on their own thesis or dissertation research carrying the endorsement of a faculty advisor. Please send abstract (200 words or less) with the following requested information via e-mail in MS Word format, or saved on a disk/CD and mailed to:
