Several crocodilian species can use their tail to propel almost their entire body out of the water. This behaviour is less commonly seen under natural conditions, although it can be used to snatch prey hanging or even flying over the water surface. It's a favourite prey capturing tactic of C. rhombifer in Cuba. This behaviour is often exploited by tourist operators.
