The cave was designed by Sightline Studios of Starke, Florida.
It began as a steel grid frame.

Next, wire mesh was laid over the frame. At left, Bob Leavy and
Brian Chamberlain bend a sheet into place.

The wire infrastructure was then covered in concrete. At left,
workers from Sightline Studios spray on the the first layer.

More concrete was added and formations were built into the floor,
ceiling and walls. At left, Ron Chesser sculpts flowstone formations
into the side of the cave.

The concrete formations were then painted. At left, Karen Aneiro
paints a stalactite.
