Remove spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy

Go to www.download.com and do a search for "spybot". Download "Spybot - Search & Destroy.
Launch Spybot from either Start/All Programs or from the Desktop if you have a shortcut there.
The first time you launch Spybot, two windows will open. One is the main window, the other one is the initial setup window.
On the initial setup window, read the message and click "Next" to continue.
Click "Check Updates".
After update completes, Spybot will restart automatically and now present you with the main window.
Click "Search for Updates".
Select all available updates and click "Download updates" or click "OK" to continue if no update is available.
Select "Immunize" on the left menu pane.
Click "OK" to continue.
Click "Immunize"
Click "Check again"
Click "OK"
Select "Search & Destroy" on the left menu pane.
Click "Check for problems"
After the scan is completed, select all the problems found in the list.
Click "Fix selected problems"
Click "Yes" to accept.
Click "OK" to confirm
You are done.
You can reboot your computer and run Spybot again to be sure all the "problems" have been removed.
