Roger is our field specialist. His research interests relate to systematics, paleoecology, biogeography, and biostratigraphy of Cenozoic invertebrates of the southeastern USA, Caribbean, and South America with an emphasis on arthropods, echinoderms, and mollusks.
Alexis Rojas-Briceño | Collection Manager, STRI Panama
Organization, loans and supervising the cataloging of the collection of the Panama Geology Project (PGP). Current research interests focus on the application of morphometrics and spatial analyses to the study of selectivity in predatory behavior of naticid gastropods and the fossil record of brachiopods from Colombia and Panama.
Chanika Symister | Research Assistant, Florida
Chanika is a Research Assistant at the Florida Museum. She is a recent graduate of Florida Memorial University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Radiochemistry. She is responsible for assisting in organizing Panama travel arrangements, preparing escavated fossils and museum catalouging. Chanika's ultimate goal is to go to medical school and become a successful medical doctor.
