Help the Museum create a permanent Discovery Room!

The Florida Museum has hosted an extremely popular seasonal Discovery Room for years, engaging more than one-third of its visitors in hands-on science education. The Museum is now developing an enhanced, permanent Discovery Room that fosters critical thinking, collaboration and creativity, and plans to open the new exhibit in 2014. But new, exciting ideas are already being tested in the current Discovery Room.

We need your help!

To reach this goal the Museum embarked on a three-year campaign to raise $1 million. During the first year of the campaign, more than $400,000 was raised, far exceeding the goal of $100,000. As the Museum enters year two of the campaign, we hope to continue this momentum. The Discovery Room will create a lasting impact on children and the adults who support their exploration, as well as lifelong learners. Your gifts will help the Museum provide this unique year-round community resource.

Join Us!

Commitments must be received by Oct. 17, 2012, to be recognized at all 2012-2013 events. Multi-year commitments will be recognized at all campaign events. Cumulative contributions (including multi-year pledges) totaling $6,000 or more will receive permanent recognition in the renovated Discovery Room.

Thank you again for your continued support. Your gifts will allow us to give back to the community through this enriching, hands-on experiential space. We hope to see you at these exciting events and look forward to your response.
