Florida Museum presents adult basket weaving class Nov. 8

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Museum of Natural History will offer an adult pine needle basket weaving class by local fiber artist Nancy Gildersleeve from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 8.

Gildersleeve will share techniques using raffia, needles and creativity to teach participants old and new methods for weaving this popular Florida basket style.
