Florida Museum offers K-5 aquatic insects class Nov. 12

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- The Florida Museum of Natural History will offer "Flying Dragons and Other Aquatic Insects" from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 12 as part of its fall exploration series "Let's Explore Aquatic Critters" where students in grades K-5 can visit exhibits, make crafts and stretch their imaginations in hands-on classes.
"Flying Dragons" participants will explore the lifestyles of water-world insects, such as dragonflies, from larva to adult.

The Florida Museum of Natural History is Florida's state natural history museum, dedicated to understanding, preserving and interpreting biological diversity and cultural heritage. It is located near the intersection of Southwest 34th Street and Hull Road in the University of Florida Cultural Plaza in Gainesville.
