GAINESVILLE, Fla. --- The Florida Museum of Natural History is kick-starting the summer with a "roar!" during the "Wigglers and Walkers" program for children ages 2 to 5. The summer series, "Animal Voices," will be held at 3:30 p.m. June 18, July 16 and Aug. 20.

Participants will croak, sing and chirp as they explore animal sounds through games, stories, songs and Florida Museum exhibits including the newest traveling exhibit, "Inside Africa," on display through Sept. 7. Volunteers will provide child-friendly fun while teaching participants about museum exhibits in a way tailored to pre-school visitors.

The cost per class for each adult and child pair is $4 for Florida Museum members and $5 for non-members. Each additional child is $2. Pre-registration is not required, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should arrive early to park their strollers and meet new friends.

For more information, call (352) 273-2061 or visit www.flmnh.ufl.edu/education/childrens_classes.htm.
