10_Carbonemys cofrinii puzzle
January 19th, 2013Former University of Florida graduate student Edwin Cadena pieces together an extinct giant turtle, Carbonemys coffrinii, discovered in the same Colombian coal mine with Titanoboa. The turtle was named in honor of the late Dr. David A Cofrin, and will be displayed at the Florida Museum of Natural History as part of the “Titanoboa: Monster Snake” exhibit Jan. 26-Aug. 11, 2013.
