<p>Participants will join Florida Museum docents and staff for child-friendly fun, while learning about museum exhibits through crafts, stories and other age-appropriate activities. The class will explore fun facts such as whether or not bees sneeze and butterflies have knees.</p>

<p>The cost for each adult and child pair is $3 for Florida Museum members and $4 for non-members. Each additional child is $1. Pre-registration is not required, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should arrive early to park their strollers and meet new friends.</p>

<p>GAINESVILLE, Fla. &#8212; The Florida Museum of Natural History will offer its monthly preschool program &#8220;Wigglers and Walkers&#8221; from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 11) for children ages 2-5. This month&#8217;s program is themed &#8220;Night and Day.&#8221;</p>
<p>Participants will join Florida Museum docents and staff for child-friendly fun while learning about museum exhibits through crafts, stories and other age-appropriate activities. The class will explore the adaptation differences between nocturnal and diurnal animals.</p>
<p>The cost for each adult/child pair is $3 for Florida Museum members and $4 for non-members. Each additional child is $1. Pre-registration is not required, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should arrive early to park their strollers and meet new friends.</p>

<p>The Florida Museum of Natural History is Florida&#8217;s state natural history museum, dedicated to understanding, preserving and interpreting biological diversity and cultural heritage. It is located near the intersection of Southwest 34th Street and Hull Road in the University of Florida Cultural Plaza in Gainesville. The class will explore how different animals move, varying from a snail with only one foot to a centipede with hundreds of legs.</p>

<p>Participants will join museum docents for child friendly fun and learn about Florida Museum exhibits through stories, games, hands-on objects and other age-appropriate activities. This month the class will explore Florida food chains. Students will make paper pitcher plants, take tours of several museum exhibits and enjoy a story, song and dance with Florida Museum staff.</p>

This month the class will make and decorate fish-shaped name tags, learn about fish, fishing and fisheries in Florida, and enjoy a story with Florida Museum staff.</p>
