Private events may be scheduled between 5:30 and 11 p.m., Monday—Sunday. Vendors will be allowed additional time to set up and break down.

McGuire (Butterfly Rainforest) Gallery

Have a small intimate dinner planned, maybe an awards presentation or lecture? The McGuire Gallery is the perfect space for you!

The Butterfly Rainforest Gallery includes a drop down screen LCD projector and sound system for your multimedia needs. Make it even more memorable; add Butterfly Rainforest tickets for a special rate. (See additional fees for pricing.)

Central Gallery & Galleria

Don't need the entire Museum? Use the Central Gallery and Galleria instead. Perfect for sit down dinners, parties with dancing, and presentations. The Central Gallery includes a drop down screen, LCD projector and sound system for your multimedia needs. (See additional fees for pricing.)

McGuire Conference Room

Perfect for small meetings, lectures or workshops! This room has a capacity of 25-50 people, depending on setup, and includes a computer, LCD projector, sound system, and VOIP hookup (for conference calls). Events are only permitted in the McGuire Conference Room on weekdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. This room can be rented out at a rate of $75/hour (up to four hours) or $400/daily. There is a 10% discount for UF departments, programs and recognized student groups.

Additional Fees:

Butterfly Rainforest Tickets Call for Special Event Rate
Set-Up and Break-Down (Required) $150
Late Exit Fee (For events that extend past time specified in contract) $100

Venue fees are exclusive of sales tax and setup/breakdown fee. You may also be required to purchase liability insurance. Organized programming in public spaces, for purposes beyond regular Museum visitation, is not permitted by outside parties during normal Museum hours.
