The Otter, The Spotted Frog & the Great Flood
9/25/2013 - 11/17/2013
Location: Calusa Heritage Trail, Classroom

The Otter, the Spotted Frog & the Great Flood is a remarkable new children's book based on a traditional story from the Creek Indians of northern Florida and Georgia. It is retold by award-winning author and storyteller Gerald Hausman and brought to life by the powerful images of Ramon Shiloh.

During this event, Hausman and Shiloh will share the story and illustrate it with projected images from the book. Adults and children alike will be enthralled by the story of Spotted Frog who tells of a great flood while other animals, except Listener the Otter, ignore his warnings.

Copies of the book will be available in the bookstore at the Trail beginning in October and Hausman and Shiloh will sign books after the presentation. For more information about The Otter, the Spotted Frog & the Great Flood, visit "Press Room" at www.wisdomtalespress.com.

This event begins at 2 p.m. in the Classroom of the Calusa Heritage Trail, 13810 Waterfront Drive, Pineland. For additional information, please call 239-283-2157 or 239-238-2062.
