Ph.D. student Peter Houlihan was recently awarded the Lewis and Varina Vaughn Fellowship in Orchid Biology from UF. The project is titled: Pollinating Florida’s ghost orchid: Coevolution, ecology, and conservation with an elusive long-tongued hawkmoth pollinator. Peter will be studying the pollination ecology of a rare endemic orchid in south Florida to better inform orchid conservation efforts throughout the tropics. Congratulations, Peter!
