Read the impressions of some of the participants (quotes are in the original language):

“The new geological model produced by Camilo Montes and his group has open a Pandora’s Box. [The] next few years will be filled with discovery, excitement and lots of controversy. Cannot get better than that.”
Carlos Jaramillo | PCP-PIRE principal investigator and STRI staff scientist.

“The All Hands Meeting in Panama City was even more impressive than I expected. It was a great blend of persons who, in spite of their diverse backgrounds, were united in a common goal of better understanding the past, present and future natural history of the Panamanian isthmus (and adjacent areas). No matter their specialty, the scientists at the All Hands Meeting had to present the results of their work to a broad audience, which is always a healthy intellectual exercise.”
David W. Steadman | Florida Museum of Natural History.

Alexis Rojas | STRI.

“The meeting pushed me to want to learn Spanish!”
Sean Moran | UF Graduate Student.

“The All Hands Meeting was a success. It was great to explain to many colleagues/collaborators about the work that PIRE-PCP is currently doing and to promote the interest of developing more collaborative effort with other researchers and institutions.”
Jorge Pino | UF Graduate Student.
