Encourage your child's curiosity and wonder in the ever-changing hands-on Discovery Room! Live animals, preserved specimens from Museum collections and a variety of science resources provide many opportunities for families to learn about the world together.
The Discovery Room is made possible by Charles H. and Wanda Denny, III; Francis Miranda Childress Foundation, Inc.; Florida Museum Associates Board and the Children's Museum of the South.
Please limit group sizes to 5 children per 1 adult.

Make sure to admire artwork in the Children's Natural History Gallery created by elementary students! In this collaborative project with Alachua County Public Schools, elementary art teachers integrate science and social studies concepts into the art curriculum.
