Betty Dunckel is Head of Education at the Florida Museum of Natural History and Project Director for Windows Into Natural History: The Learning Resource Center, one of the permanent exhibitions being developed for Powell Hall. She has worked with natural history programs and museum exhibitions for more than 25 years and was project director for the Fossil Study Center and Florida: 40 Million Years Ago exhibitions in Dickinson Hall as well as the renovation of the North Florida Cave and Florida Environments exhibitions. Betty received her B.S. from Cornell University (1972), M.A.T. from the University of New Hampshire (1973), and Ph.D. from the University of Florida (1996) in science education with a specialization in informal education. She is interested in exhibition and program research and evaluation.
