The Miss Lucy Dickinson Scholarship is available on a competitive basis to incoming (first-year) graduate students pursuing the Doctoral degree in Vertebrate Paleontology at the University of Florida. This fellowship will be awarded for up to three years with a stipend of $6,000 per year ($500/month). This award is intended to supplement other fellowships and assistantships during the graduate student's studies.
This is a fully endowed award established by J.C. and the late Lucy Dickinson in honor of "Miss Lucy." Dr. J. C. Dickinson, Jr. was Director of the Florida Museum of Natural History from 1952 until 1979.
