Join the Florida Museum of Natural History for the exciting event Passport to Discovery – in the last year of a three-year campaign to raise funds for a permanent Discovery Room.
Help the Museum create a spectacular, new Discovery Room!
Because of the tremendous popularity of the Florida Museum's temporary Discovery Room, the Museum is developing a permanent exhibit designed for families with children 8 and under!
Opening in 2015, the new Discovery Room includes an area for infants and toddlers and opportunities for the entire family to explore, observe, study, pretend and play. With a vast array of awe-inspiring objects, engaging interactive activities and media resources the new exhibit is sure to foster a sense of wonder about the world's biological diversity and cultural heritage.
We need your help!
The Museum is in the final year of a three-year campaign to raise funds for the exciting new Discovery Room. Proceeds from this year's Passport Gala benefit the permanent Discovery Room with naming opportunities available throughout the exhibit. Charitable gifts enable the Museum to design and construct this family destination, which is free to all visitors.
Commitments must be received by Feb. 28, 2014, to be recognized at the 2014 Gala. Multi-year commitments will be recognized at all campaign events. Cumulative contributions (including multi-year pledges) totaling $6,000 or more will receive permanent recognition in the renovated Discovery Room. Naming opportunities are available. Please contact Leslie Ladendorf, 352-273-2047 for more information.
On behalf of our youngest visitors and their families, thank you!
