Florida Museum seeking summer junior volunteers ages 12-17

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Museum of Natural History is accepting applications for summer 2007 junior volunteers from students ages 12-17. The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. April 20. Junior volunteers are needed to work with younger students in the museum’s summer camps and Discovery Room, and to interact with visitors through Discovery Cart demonstrations.

Junior volunteers must serve at least 40 hours, complete a pre-service interview and training, and may serve a maximum of four hours per day.
