09_Fossil prep lab
January 19th, 2013University of Florida graduate student Sean Moran works on a fossil from Panama in the Paleo Prep Lab during the Florida Museum of Natural History’s “Cruisin’ the Fossil Freeway” in September 2012. The museum’s newest temporary exhibit, “Titanoboa: Monster Snake” also features a Paleo Prep Lab where visitors may observe and speak with scientists and volunteers working on plant and animal fossils from the same Colombian coal where Titanoboa was discovered. The museum will display the exhibit Jan. 26-Aug. 11, 2013.
