Hausman and Ramon at RRC!
11/16/2013
Location: 13810 Waterfront Drive, Pineland

Children and adults alike, please join us on Saturday, November 16 at 2 p.m. in the Classroom of the Calusa Heritage Trail, Randell Research Center, for a reading and slide presentation with Gerald Hausman and Ramon Shiloh of the remarkable new book “The Otter, The Spotted Frog & the Great Flood”.

This charming children’s book is based on a traditional story from the Creek Indians of northern Florida and Georgia, retold by award-winning author and storyteller Gerald Hausman and brought to life by the powerful images of Ramon Shiloh. This enthralling tale shares the story of Spotted Frog who tells of a great flood while other animals, except Listener the Otter, ignore his warnings. This universal tale reminds us to listen to the wisdom of nature and the environment.

This event is free for all. Copies of the book for signing by Gerald and Ramon may be purchased in the gift shop. A donation is requested to walk the Calusa Heritage Trail. All sales and donations support Randell Research Center operations. The Calusa Heritage Trail is located at 13810 Waterfront Drive, Pineland. For additional information about the book, Gerald Hausman and Ramon Shiloh, please see the attached media kit. For additional information on the event, please call 239-283-2062 or 239-283-2157.
