Group rates are available by prior arrangements for many types of civic, community and
business organizations. We appreciate at least two weeks notice. Please click on the link below

- All prices subject to change.
- We accept cash, Travelers Checks, American express, Visa, MasterCard or Corporate/organizational checks made out to the University of Florida. No personal checks.
- All tickets are for that day only. Re-entry with ticket stub and hand stamp.
- Group prices/scheduling available Monday - Saturday.
- NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGES for inclement weather.
- If on the day of your scheduled visit there are less than 10 in your group, you will be charged the regular admission rate.

1 Suggested admission for the Florida Museum of Natural History. Admission donations
help support the Museum's exhibitions and education programs.

The guided tour is led by a Butterfly Rainforest staff member and lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Information provided ranges from a butterfly's life cycle to behaviors exhibited in the Rainforest, nectar plants and other food sources in the landscaping, and some details about the Rearing Laboratory and how it operates. Areas covered include Butterfly Rainforest and the Rearing Laboratory.
Availablity: Monday - Friday. Two-week advance reservations required. Last tour begins at 3:00 pm.
Museum Docent Tours for Adult Groups
$4 per person (in addition to temporary exhibit fee and museum donation).
This docent-guided tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. Choose two of the following exhibits: Northwest Florida, Southwest Florida, Hall of Florida Fossils, Megalodon or Inside Africa (open March 15 - Sept. 7, 2008).
Availability: Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 pm. Two-week advance reservations required.
Butterfly Rainforest VIP Guided Tour (6-12 individuals)
$20 per person (includes cost of admission).
The VIP tour is led by our Vivarium Specialist and lasts approximately one hour. The tour begins with the Wall of Wings and brief information about the McGuire Center's collections, and continues with information ranging from a butterfly's life cycle to behaviors exhibited in the Rainforest, nectar plants and other food sources in the landscaping, and finishes with a behind the scenes look in the Rearing Laboratory and its operations. A complimentary ID guide is also provided to all members of the VIP tour group by the Butterfly Rainforest Gift Shop.
